‘Camp Rock 3’ Premiere Date & Teaser Trailer Revealed as Cast Drops First Single From Soundtrack

Raise your hands up in the air and scream! Camp Rock 3 just unveiled a slate of exciting updates, including the film’s premiere date, a second teaser trailer and the first song on its soundtrack.

Disney announced Wednesday (July 1) that the third installment of its beloved Demi Lovato- and Jonas Brothers-led franchise will premiere Aug. 13 on Disney Channel, arriving the following day for streaming on Disney+. Alongside the news, the company released a second teaser for the film, this time showcasing the new cast of campers striving for greatness at Camp Rock.

“When Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, they return to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing,” reads a synopsis. “As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested — leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances.”

Plus, “One Beat Away” — fans’ first taste of the collection of songs that will be featured in Camp Rock 3 — has arrived on streaming services, featuring Liamani Segura, who will play Sage. “One shot, this is the moment/ One chance, I’m gonna show them,” she sings on the inspiring track. “Dream so close that I can touch it/ One beat away and I’m ready to crush it.”

Launching the careers of Lovato and the Jo Bros, Camp Rock premiered on Disney Channel in 2008, followed by Camp Rock 2 in 2010. The movies spawned hits on the Billboard Hot 100 including No. 9 anthem “This Is Me.”
