Forget professional photos — as a fun photography lover, I can’t recommend these 6 Prime Day cameras deals enough for any trigger-happy enthusiasts

I'm a photography and content creator novice, so while some may take photos much more seriously than I do, I must admit I enjoy taking a quick snap. Whether it's my surroundings, a selfie or just another pic of my dog being cute, I find joy in fun photos.
Equally so, I find joy in fun cameras, which may not be classed as traditional point-and-shoots, but still grasp the essence of any moment. And right now, during Amazon Prime Day, some of my top-rated fun cameras are on sale, with up to 32% off.
Earlier this year, I nabbed the cutest cam in business – the Kodak Charmera for AU$60, but now it's down to just AU$44. I adore my Kodak Charmera. It's permanently attached to my keys (and me, by extension), and while it doesn't take the best photos or videos quality-wise, it is a fun way to capture everyday moments.
I've also just gotten my hands on the Insta360 Go 3S, which has been a nice addition to my content creator set-up. I'm still a newbie, but the Go 3S is really easy to use and helps me when I'm filming solo in public or picture a gorgeous landscape in full panoramic view. Better yet, it's also discounted for Prime Day, now just AU$524.99.
In addition, I've included 4 more of the best fun camera deals worth shopping on Amazon right now below, in case you're anything like me and love a fun camera. These cameras all live in the "cute", not serious photography category, and if you're after more serious recommendations, I'd suggest checking out our best cameras guide.
It's also worth mentioning that these deals are exclusive to Prime members, and if you're not signed up already, you can get a free 30-day trial here. You'll need to act fast to nab any of these cute Prime Day camera bargains, though, as these deals are set to expire on Monday, July 13, at 11:59pm.

Love the thrill of a blindbox keyring? The Kodak Charmera is worth getting your hands on. We gave it 4 stars in our review, as it is, simply put, "cute, cheap and lo-fi". You're not going to get high-definition quality out of it, but you'll get a cute keyring camera with vintage aesthetic photos and videos. The Charmera has 11 different filters and frames to choose from, and comes with a USB-C cord for easy charging. You'll only need to add a microSD card in a GB capacity of your choice to transfer your pics. Oh, and your selected colourway? That's anyone's guess, as the Charmera comes in seven mystery colours, including a "secret", rare transparent green cover. View Deal

Capturing 4K content just got cuter with this tiny Insta360 Go 3S camera. It's totally magnetic, so you can stick it to most surfaces and capture 360-degree POVs. Now discounted on Amazon, this bundle is great for budding content creators, adventurers, and risk-takers on the go.View Deal

Slashing a nice 15% off, this Instax SQ1 would be a fun gift for those snap-happy folks in your life. As part of the Square lineup of Instax cameras, it produces square prints as opposed to the credit card-sized ones of the Mini 12.View Deal

Scoring a nice 4.5 stars in our review, the Polaroid Go Gen 2 is a cute, easy-to-use camera. Improving on the first-generation model, the Go Gen 2 introduces a new double-exposure mode for creative shots, has a self-timer and a selfie mirror, and has a decent battery life. Plus, it's supposedly so small, it'll fit in your pocket, and you can take it everywhere. The only caveat? You'll need to purchase Polaroid's compatible Go film separately, which is AU$31.41 on Amazon for a double pack. View Deal

The Kodak PIXPRO C1 is a highly compact digital camera and it's portable, so you can take it anywhere. There’s a dedicated flip-up screen for taking selfies, and it's perfect for anyone who wants to take pictures without taking up their phone storage. View Deal

I was introduced to this camera during a family trip, and frankly, I fell in love with it. In a design similar to disposable cameras, Camp Snap is a digital point-and-shoot without a viewfinder. It also takes photos with a similar, disposable film feel, all without needing to send the roll away for developing. What's more, it can save up to 2,000 photos with its included SD card and comes with a USB-C charging and transfer cord. View Deal
