I'm a homes expert — here are the outdoor gems I'd pick up in Walmart's big 4th July event

The 4th of July long weekend is upon us, and hopefully you have some outdoor gathering time planned. It's an especially good time to pick up some kit to upgrade your outside space too. As part of Walmart's massive 4th of July sale, I've spotted some particularly impressive discounts on things like grills, robot lawn mowers, planters and outdoor furniture. The kind of thing that could make a huge difference to how you enjoy your outside space. If you have a large turf area, my top recommendation is to invest in a robot lawn mower. I tested a number of these during my years as a TechRadar Homes Editor, and I was genuinely wowed by how much time and effort they can save, and how neat and thorough they are, too.
